THE INCEPTION, by Christopher Nolan
“The story, inspired by the concepts of lucid dreaming and dream incubation, is a variant on the heist genre with a cyberpunk plot. DiCaprio plays Dom Cobb, an “extractor”, who enters the dreams of others to obtain information that is otherwise inaccessible. His abilities and questions about the death of his wife have cost him his family and his nationality, but he is promised a chance to regain his old life in exchange for planting an idea in a corporate target’s mind. This process of planting an idea, known as “inception”, is less familiar and far more difficult than Cobb’s usual job of “extraction”. “

Personal Note:
Here’s what I think: Christopher Nolan’s been producing great movies. Though I didn’t watch Batman, I know it was a huge success, everyone watched it and had positive reviews.
About “The Inception”, first of all, the cast is absolutely great. Names such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, Ken Watanabe, Marion Cotillard and so on, couldn’t expect anything else than a cast of success.
The plot totally blew me away. The directing is amazing, there’s a couple of scenes that we can notice the special effects but, challenging the gravity requires that right?
BUT…it is quite difficult to distinguish what’s real and what’s not, and between a dream and the reality, you can get to a point where you feel lost so, for me, it is a movie to watch maybe twice to get the essence of the movie.
Totally recommend!
